Fluid bed dryers work on the principle of fluidization, a process where a material is converted from a static solid-like state to a dynamic fluid-like state. In this process, hot gas or air is introduced through a perforated distribution plate into the area holding the material.
The characteristics of the Fluid Bed Dryer supplied by us.
Fluid-bed drying offers highly efficient heat transfer because the particles being dried are suspended in the heated process.
Hot Gas comes in intimate contact with the entire surface area. But, to fully capitalize on these capabilities, the Hot Gas flow is distributed uniform throughout the entire area of the fluid bed. A uniform Hot Gas flow optimizes the area required for drying.
It is easy to change the residence time of materials in the machine by adjusting the multiple and outside weir plates. Different Zones are formed and temperatures can be varied.
The material is heated evenly, the heat exchange is sufficient, the drying strength is high, and the energy saving is about 30% compared with ordinary dryers.
The material is fluidized by the Hot Gas, it is in a highly dispersed state, so the mass transfer and heat transfer are enhanced, and the production intensity of the machine is improved. Stable fluidization, no dead ends and blow-through phenomena.
The machine has a wide range of adaptability, and can be adapted to materials with different specific gravity, particle size and water content.
